This French country nursery turned out so charming. The beautiful color palette of soft grey/lavender/mauve reminds us of the french countryside at dusk, while the paint color is not too baby-ish and will evolve easily into a little girl’s room as she grows.

The one challenge that we faced was that this is a rental, so we couldn’t change the lighting, no wall covering allowed, and we could not paint the trim.

We used wall molding and fabric to bring in texture and both can be removed with minimal damage to walls. The new velvet drapery hides most of the brown trim.

We know there will be lots of coos and cuddles in this cozy nursery!
